Saturday marked an eventful day for the competent staff of Scottsdale based Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill. It was the culmination of a marketing promotion executed in concert with The ALS Association and the PNA Center for Neurological Research, titled “Bite Nite” which invited five of Phoenix’s top restaurants to a “no holds barred” taste event.
Held at the Scottsdale Conference Resort where attendees were invited to take part in a silent auction in addition to sampling food and drink from five of the valley’s top restaurants: Ling and Louie’s, Va Bene, 5th and Wine, Cien Agaves, and Oregano’s.
Ling and Louie’s contributed to the cause by donating one dollar for every menu item ordered off of a select menu before the event. Paul Shashaty, Ling and Louie’s marketing and brand manager, took it a step further by conducting a viral marketing promotion and fulfilling the promotion through Twitter.
Linda Lipani and guest, pictured with the namesake for Ling and Louie’s “Evil Jungle Princess” entrée was the lucky winner of a Bite Club VIP package which included overnight accommodations, $125.00 in restaurant gift cards, pre and post event activities as well as some additional giveaways from the participants.
Lipani was announced as the winner of the VIP package via Ling and Louie’s twitter account last Friday. A great time was had by all at this sold out event and more importantly, offered a great deal of education and substantial contributions to ALS.
Hiya! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My web site looks weird when browsing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to resolve this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share. Cheers!
Don’t know of any WP plugin that would do the trick, usually have to convert the site to a stripped down version which really decreases user experience. However, with today’s smartphone and tablets, sites usually don’t skip a beat as far as functionality.
